Kansas has joined the PrePass system.
Kansas Now Offers PrePass

Prepass is operated by the Heavy Vehicle Electronic License Plate Inc., of Phoenix, Ariz., and uses truck-mounted transponder and weigh-in-motion technology to let qualified carriers bypass weight and inspection stations.
Six weigh stations on Interstate 35 and Interstate 70 in Kansas are slated to offer PrePass technology. Truck owners will be billed 99 cents each time they use PrePass to bypass a scale, to a maximum of $3.96 per day.
PrePass is now available in 21 states. Ohio came online in March.
