Detroit Diesel is offering a knowledge-building program designed to elevate a used truck salesperson’s understanding of diesel engines and technologies.
Known as the Remarketing Masters Program, it focuses on the company’s Series 60 engines.
The comprehensive educational program is intended to help salespeople learn and remember significant product information about truck diesels. Along with providing helpful information, the Remarketing Masters Program reinforces that information on a continuous basis, and tests a salesperson’s retention level.
The program is offered in three levels: Graduate, Honors and Masters. In order to progress through any of these courses, a minimum grade of 80% must be achieved.
The Graduate Program covers diesel technologies, from horsepower ratings through service intervals, fuel efficiency, warranties and low cost of ownership. The Honors Programs deals with applying Series 60 benefits to buyer requirements, interpreting DDEC information and critical facts about competitive engines. Subjects covered by the Masters Program range from training other salespeople to evaluating used truck engine conditions.
