The 19th annual Shell Rotella SuperRigs Truck Beauty Contest runs today through Saturday.

The event is being held on at the TravelCenters of America location in San Antonio, Texas, about 10 minutes east of downtown off I-10, exit 583.
Working trucks from around the nation will compete for over $10,000 in cash and prizes, plus an opportunity to appear in the 2002 Rotella SuperRigs calendar.
Truckers will be able to compete in tractor, tractor/trailer combination, and classic categories, with the top 18 rigs receiving awards. A panel of judges, including RoadStar Editor Steve Sturgess and trucking radio show host Dave Nemo, will score the rigs on exterior appearance, design, detail, and workmanship. Only working trucks operating in inter- or intrastate commerce are eligible. State DOT authority or ICC numbers on the truck are required proof for entry.
Trucks will be judged from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Thursday, May 17, and Friday, May 18, and from 8 a.m. until noon on Saturday, May 19. The contest is free to participants. Drivers can register on arrival and go through the entry line when they are ready. The judging takes approximately 20 minutes and contestants do not have to be present to win. Every entrant will receive a $50 value gift package.
