Founded in 1995, the Team Excellence award recognizes vehicle sales managers and vehicle sales center managers who sell Ryder's pre-owned vehicles quickly and profitably and who also receive high marks for customer satisfaction.
At a recent ceremony near Ryder's global headquarters in Miami, seven honorees received their signature green Team Excellence sport coats. This year's winners are: vehicle sales center managers James Fantocone (Southern Calif.) and Deborah Moshier (South Fla.); and vehicle sales managers Eugene Turchyn (Southern Calif.), Jasver Summan (Sacramento, Calif.), Keith B. Cook (Minneapolis/St.Paul, Minn.), Russell Carrigan (Nashville, Tenn.) and Gregory Fuller (Chicago, Ill.).
Three Team Excellence scholarship awards were also presented to further the education of relatives of Ryder employees. The $5,000 scholarship went to Vanessa Sendros of Hialeah, Fla. The $3,000 scholarship was presented to Katie Lynn Childress of Flora, Miss. The $2,000 scholarship went to Mary Walters of Tipp City, Ohio.
