Ryder System has recognized used truck sales performance in 200 with its Vehicle Sales Team Excellence award.
Founded in 1995, the Team Excellence award recognizes vehicle sales managers and vehicle sales center managers who sell Ryder's pre-owned vehicles quickly and profitably and who also receive high marks for customer satisfaction.
At a recent ceremony near Ryder's global headquarters in Miami, seven honorees received their signature green Team Excellence sport coats. This year's winners are: vehicle sales center managers James Fantocone (Southern Calif.) and Deborah Moshier (South Fla.); and vehicle sales managers Eugene Turchyn (Southern Calif.), Jasver Summan (Sacramento, Calif.), Keith B. Cook (Minneapolis/St.Paul, Minn.), Russell Carrigan (Nashville, Tenn.) and Gregory Fuller (Chicago, Ill.).
Three Team Excellence scholarship awards were also presented to further the education of relatives of Ryder employees. The $5,000 scholarship went to Vanessa Sendros of Hialeah, Fla. The $3,000 scholarship was presented to Katie Lynn Childress of Flora, Miss. The $2,000 scholarship went to Mary Walters of Tipp City, Ohio.
