A drought that has Montana ranchers scrambling is providing plenty of loads for livestock haulers.

According to the Associated Press, Montana livestock producers are shipping animals out of the state in search of pasture. The U.S. Department of Agriculture has given all 56 counties in the state drought disaster status.
A Billings dispatcher told the AP that his owner-operators have taken out 100 truckloads more so far this year than last year. Chuck Larsen of Billings said he was running about three weeks behind on meeting requests.
