Bendix Commercial Vehicle Systems, Elyria, Ohio, a division of Honeywell Transportation and Power Systems, has selected the BusinessEngine Network to optimize its internal supply chain processes.

According to Bendix, the recent slowdown in the heavy-duty truck market has increased pressures to develop new products and penetrate new markets. The company said BusinessEngine Network will give Bendix greater visibility into risks, issues, milestones and deliverables associated with every new product, providing increased control over allocation of people, time and money.
Some 200 Bendix program managers, project team members, R&D engineers, and IT professionals will use the BusinessEngine Network to collaborate on projects across geographic barriers, and multiple time zones.
