3PLex, Cambridge, Mass., a web-based transportation service for third-party logistics companies, announced the appointment of Theodore Prince as vice president and general manager of its intermodal business.
Prince will be responsible for increasing 3Plex’s share of intermodal business among large steamship lines, intermodal marketing companies and drayage providers.
3PLex’s intermodal product is designed to allow drayage purchasers and providers to web-enable their businesses.
Before joining 3Plex, Prince was with "K" Line America, where he served as senior vice president and chief operating officer, as well as executive vice president and chief operating officer of The Rail-Bridge Corporation, "K" Line’s domestic inland subsidiary.
