Nominations are being sought for the 2001 National Trailer Dealer of the Year award.

The annual award recognizes heavy duty trailer dealers whose leadership, professionalism and integrity have most enhanced their companies, industry and community.
CitiCapital (the combined operations of the former Associates and CitiCorp Global Equipment Finance) and the National Trailer Dealers Assn. jointly developed the award and are its co-sponsors.
Nominees are evaluated by a panel of industry representatives on the basis of three major criteria:
  • Dealership contribution and effectiveness: dealership profile, innovative business practices, financial policies, marketing methods, personnel management, vision for the dealership and the trailer industry.
  • Industry contribution: participation in industry associations, involvement with legislative issues, involvement with suppliers.
  • Community participation: community involvement, industry promotion, philanthropic/charitable activities.

This year’s awards will be presented at NTDA’s Annual Convention, Sept. 26-29 in Scottsdale, Ariz.
