Atlanta-based CarrierPoint Inc., the Web-based logistics software company, has announced it is providing its WebDispatch and Dynamic Shipping Marketplace applications to Ticona, the technical polymers business of Celanese AG.
WebDispatch allows shippers and carriers to conduct contract business directly without the use of labor-intensive and error-prone business processes, EDI technology or the involvement of a third party. Dynamic Shipping MarketPlace allows shippers and carriers to offer shipments, communicate prices, make commitments and share information in a secure, real-time environment using either their own private marketplaces or CarrierPoint's public marketplace.
