The Logistics Technologies unit of UPS Logistics Group, Baltimore, has released eROADNET, a sophisticated Internet technology that allows customers to schedule their own deliveries.

Aimed at high-volume distributors and service operation, eROADNET provides buyers with delivery and service options at the same site where they place orders. The eROADNET system constantly optimizes routes and scheduling in the background, offering customers options compatible with operational efficiency.
The system, which must be integrated with existing user software, consists of four individual servers: NetMapper, NetScheduler, NetIntegrater and NetTracker.
According to the company, eROADNET combines powerful algorithms with customer needs to drive delivery density and profitability. You can learn more at www.roadnet.com/products/eroadnet.html.
