The NATSO Foundation is now accepting applications for the 2001 Bill Moon Scholarship Program

The research, education and public outreach subsidiary of truckstop group NATSO each year recognizes outstanding college and college-bound students from the travel plaza and truckstop industry through this scholarship program. This year, 12 $2,500 scholarships will go to truckstop employees and their legal dependents.
The scholarship, named for the late truckstop industry leader Bill Moon, is based on academic achievements as well as leadership and community service.
The scholarship program began with a $5,000 contribution in 1989 and has evolved in the 12 years since with the help of the Mason-Dixon Truck Stop Operators Assn., the Northeast Truckstop Operators Assn., and Carolyn Moon. In addition, earnings from the NATSO Foundation Endowment are dedicated to the program to ensure its continuation.
Applications are available on the NATSO Foundation's web site at www.natsofoundation.org.
