The Mid-West Truckers Assn. recently honored four drivers in its annual Safe & Courteous Driver award program.

In Class 2 (Tractor-Trailer less than 50,000 miles per year), first place went to Jack Wilson of Vienna, Ill. Wilson has driven for more than 50 years and has been accident- and violation-free for more than 30 years. Second place went to David Ristau of LaSalle, Ill., who has been accident- and violation-free for all of his 29 years of driving.
In Class 3 (Tractor-Trailer over 50,000 miles per year), Dale Jaegle of Tonica, Ill., took home first place. Jaegle has been driving for 36 years with no violations or accidents. Second place went to William Cost of Lexington, Ill. Cox has been driving for 32 years and has been violation-free for 28 years and accident-free for 32 years.
First place winners receive a plaque and a check for $150 from Northland Insurance Co. Second place winners get a plaque and a $75 check from Clemens & Associates Insurance Agency of Bloomington, Ill.
