The Engine Manufacturers Association, a trade association representing manufacturers of internal combustion engines, is adding the position of director of environmental affairs to its staff.

Beginning April 16, Kevin Kokrda will provide additional staff expertise to member companies on the technical and environmental issues facing the industry.
"Kevin is a great addition to our staff as the industry faces increasing regulatory issues in the environmental and emissions areas," said an EMA representative. "His knowledge and previous experience in the industry will allow him to be immediately effective."
Kokrda joins EMA from Kubota Engine America Corp. and has more than 20 years of experience in the engine and equipment industries, with the most recent 10 years focused on environmental issues related to engine exhaust emissions.
