Web-based transportion market and logistics provider BestTransport.comhas released a new on-line application called Status Manager.
According to BestTransport, Status Manager facilitates the scheduling of pick-up times, coordinates pick-up and drop off locations, enables in-transit tracking of freight, and records proof of delivery.
"Status Manager is a significant enhancement of our capabilities, based on input from actual users of our product," said J. Vincent Ciroli, Jr., Chief Executive Officer of BestTransport.
BestTransport launched in January 2000 and currently serves shippers and carriers in a number of industries. The company recently signed Nucor-Yamato Steel as a customer.
