A truck driver training center in Little Rock, Ark., is appealing an order revoking its license to administer Commercial Driver's License exams.

According to The Arkansas Democrat-Gazette, state police revoked the license for CDL Training and Testing Inc. last week. A state trooper took the test under a fake name last fall and tried to fail, but was passed anyway. The trooper was allowed to have a pre-trip inspection list with him during the pretrip, and was coached through other parts of the test.
The appeal accuses the state police of abusing their discretion, and says the police have failed to treat the company the same as another holder of a testing license that is "similarly situated."
