Kurtt International Trucks is the new name of Garden State International Trucks, San Jose, Calif.
This is not the only change for this full-service dealership, purchased two years ago by Bruce Kurtt, formerly with International.
It has undergone a facelift, is a Hino dealer, an Idealease franchise and operates its own paint and body shop. It recently became a trailer dealer, adding Ranco end and bottom dump trailers and Henderson Dump Bodies, and it handles Wabash/Fruehauf trailer parts.
"We’re looking for salespeople in all areas, and are investigating the possibility of adding some other trailer lines and expanding our operations with some additional locations," said Kurtt.
Kurtt International was named to International’s 2000 Circle of Excellence, making it one of the manufacturer's top 50 dealers. It has doubled its sales of Hino trucks from 1999 to 2000, and has achieved Idealease’s Gold award for outstanding performance.
