FreightMatrix, of Memphis, Tenn., the web-based logistics market for logistics companies, announced that Loop One (formerly AnythingOvernight.com), of Austin, Texas, will provide small package management services to FreightMatrix clients.
Logistics services and small package shipments are often treated separately within companies, which don't have a consolidated financial picture of their heavy and small freight expenditures. According to the FreightMatrix announcement, the integration of Loop One allows a common view of both.
This consolidated capability covers both domestic and international shipments and uses most major expedited carriers, the company said.
