Keller Technical Institute, the educational affiliate of regulatory compliance and safety publisher J. J. Keller & Associates, will conduct a two-day program devoted to recruiting and retaining truck drivers May 10-11 at the Embassy Suites in Schaumburg, Ill.

The North American Driver Recruiting and Retention Summit will feature industry experts discussing proven steps to battle the cost of truck driver turnover, including information on how to hire the best drivers and how to create a positive culture to keep drivers. The program will combine how-to techniques, case studies, and hands-on exercises.
Brad Penneau, editor of Keller's Transportation Recruiting & Retention Insights newsletter, is spearheading the summit, which features a wide array of speakers. Penneau will discuss the principles and tenets behind "The Keller 31 -- Quantifying A Company's Driver Recruiting & Retention Behavior" and what makes it work.
In addition, speakers will present implementation strategies, practical insight and tactics. They will present ideas on how to get employees at all levels in the organization fired up about their company. Then personnel of actual trucking companies who've made these recruiting adjustments will present first-hand success stories of how these recruiting and retention strategies have worked in their workplace.
