HDeXchange.com has launched an e-commerce service for manufacturers, distributors and dealers of parts for heavy duty trucks.
HdeXchange.com provides an industry data warehouse, a web-based repository for product information, which will enable members to automatically and regularly exchange current, synchronized product and pricing data electronically, reducing transaction costs and inefficiencies.
More than 30 manufacturers and distributors are part of the HDX pilot program, including Bendix Truck Brake Systems, Chicago Rawhide, Drive Train Industries, Haldex Midland Services, Harman Heavy Vehicle Specialists, Kroeger Equipment & Supply, Midwest Wheel Co., and Stemco. Nineteen additional companies in the industry have subscribed to HDX since the pilot program was completed recently.
