Synergistic Systems offers Version 2.0 of its Synergy Cross Dock Tracking System designed for less-than-truckload carriers.
The Windows95-based system tracks shipments from arrival at the terminal to loading and closing the outbound trailer. Synergy connects to mobile data terminals to gather data on incoming shipments. Each shipment has a bar-coded label which allows dock workers to verify correct load door and enter it into the system, which calculates total trailer weight and distribution.
Synergy also notes HazMat, Food and Freezable flags and features OS&D control and a reweigh process.
