National Systems & Research Co.’s GPS receiver is designedto make vehicle tracking affordable — even for small operations.OpenLink combines a GPS receiver with a radio/communicationsinterface and allows the user to connect to any new or existing radioor communication system without specialized interface equipment.
OpenLink features a standard NMEA 0183 output using a 10-channelreceiver board. The system interfaces to Motorola or Ericsson digitalradios and satellite communications interfaces.
In addition, sensors to detect door opening and motion inside thecontainer can be added to the location device to alert thedispatcher.
