Mack Trucks is offering LNG-fueled Mack MR and LE model trucks equipped with Mack E7G 325 hp natural gas engines. The new engine is said to be an evolution of the Mack E7 diesel and will be available in a 350-hp version in the future.
The Mack power module includes the E7G natural gas engine and the LNG fuel storage system. The engine features a closed loop, lean burn electronic fuel management system, which monitors and continually adjusts the fuel flow for optimum performance. The power module is designed to be adaptable to additional chassis models based on customer requirements.
