Federal Express Corp. has purchased OmniTracs mobile communications units from Qualcomm, Inc. to achieve greater equipment visibility and a higher level of service reliability. Memphis, TN-based Federal Express will also implement Qualcomm’s SensorTracs driver performance monitoring system.
