M.S. Carriers Names Top Trainers

M.S. Carriers, Memphis, Tenn., recently honored its top driver-trainers of the year for 2000.

The new awards program recognizes outstanding trainers based on their students' performance in the areas of safety, service and retention.
Driver-Trainer Nelson Works of New Waterford, Ohio, was named Trainer of the Year for 2000, receiving a check for $3,000.
A trainer for nine years with M.S. Carriers, Works said he enjoys the job. "It's a new adventure every day. Every student is different."
Driver-Trainer David Way of Memphis earned second place Trainer of the Year honors and received $2,000, and Ray Lurvey of Memphis earned third place honors and received $1,000.
