Seattle-based nPassage, the Web-based transportation management system, has adopted MetaFrame software from Citrix Systems, Ind. to offer immediate, high-speed access to nPassage dial-up customers.
According to nPassage, MetaFrame software will allow customers using slow, dial-up internet access – the only kind available in many areas – to greatly enhance the speed of interaction with nPassage.
nPassage allows shippers to log on to the Internet from anywhere then rate, book or track a shipment, and handle all the communications necessary to ensure it remains visible from origin to destination. nPassage supports transportation modes – TL (truckload) and LTL (less-than-truckload) motor, air, ocean and rail – to anywhere in the world.
