GM Layoff Affects 900

Slow sales in the medium-duty commercial truck market is putting about 900 General Motors workers out of work for about three weeks, according to the Madison Capital Times.
The Janesville, Wis., plant will close from August 21 to September 24, and will only affect the medium-duty line.
