The Waupun Truckers Jamboree, an "11th Annual Salute to the Trucking Industry," kicks off the weekend of August 11-12 in Waupun, Wisc.

Drivers from all over the United States and Canada travel to the festival to show off their big rigs. Many truckers have already registered for this year’s jamboree; last year’s parade drew nearly 500 entries.
Show visitors not only get to enjoy the 18-wheelers, but can also take advantage of a wide array of live music, food, and information booths offering information, products and career opportunities in the trucking industry.
Competition for the "Nights of the Lights" Convoy begins on Friday night. The competition for the remaining categories begins on Saturday, with plaques and trophies handed out in more than 200 classes, including a special trophy for the Trucker’s Choice Award.
Visitors will also be treated to free live music throughout the weekend, along with a pancake breakfast and fireworks display, and will finish off the weekend dancing to live music from "Trebor" and "Whiskey River Band."
