Ambest, an independent truck stop marketing association, is approaching the midway point of its year-long drive to donate 2,000 units to NATSO’s sixth annual "Drive to Save Lives" national blood drive.

To date, nearly 50 Ambest member locations have pledged to collect the units during drives at their locations this year.
The Drive to Save Lives collected more than 21,000 units of blood last year. Last year, Ambest member Muralt's Travel Plaza, Missoula, Mont., collected 260 units, the most of any truckstop in the NATSO blood drive.
