The future of The Maintenance Council's relationship with parent organization American Trucking Associations will top the agenda at TMC's 2000 Summer Meeting, being held today through Wednesday at the Westin La Paloma Hotel in Tucson, Ariz.

A special Town Meeting will be held where attendees will hear the details of a preliminary agreement between TMC and ATA regarding Council integration and the ATA restructuring plan. Attendees will be permitted to comment on the proposal following its presentation.
More than 70 TMC Task Forces will meet to develop recommended practices fleets can incorporate in daily operations, and manufacturers can reference in the design of future equipment.
Featured technical presentations will include: What's Happening to Commercial Vehicle Cooling Systems; Regulatory/Industry Changes and Their Effect on Vehicle Maintenance; and Innovative Fuel Management Strategies.
