In a recent speech at the National Press Club's Luncheon, International Brotherhood of Teamsters General President, James P. Hoffa, spoke of significant Teamster victories that occurred during the first year of his administration.

Hoffa, who took office in March 1999, highlighted the Teamsters' ability to obtain better contracts, higher wages, stronger pensions and new members.
"Together, we will restore a strong voice for America's working families," he said.
