The Sterling Truck plant in St. Thomas, Ontario, Canada, will shut down the first week in July.

The company blamed slowing North American heavy truck sales but said there are currently no plans to cut its 1,900-person workforce.
The plant, built in 1992, recently produced its 100,000th truck.
