Car Carriers to Get Web Marketplace

An Internet startup company called Vehiclocity ( will provide an online marketplace to link automobile shippers with car carriers.

Vehiclocity will serve shippers and receivers such as vehicle manufacturers, rental agencies, leasing companies and auto dealers.
Initially, the site will provide loads to motor carriers, but according to a press release, the site will eventually offer worldwide services through truckers, railroads, ocean carriers and third-party logistics providers. The service is set to launch this summer.
