A Canadian trucking fleet and technology company have joined forces to field test five engine and truck specific systems using "clean air" technology.
The technology is designed to provide fuel efficiency and reduce exhaust emissions.
Robert Transport, Quebec, will install the systems in their trucks, giving TER, an energy recovery technology company headquartered in Montreal, an opportunity to see how their engines will perform in an actual highway demonstration. At the same time, Robert Transport will be able to take advantage of reducing their fuel use and operating costs.
TER also plans to manufacture stationary power generators, and mobile off-road diesel engine applications, like construction vehicles, locomotives and mining trucks.
