Electronic Freight Exchange, El Dorado Hills, CA, has announced a strategic alliance with the Document Management Industries Assn. to promote EFXit!, the company's new Web-based multi-modal transportation management platform.

DMIA president Peter Colaianni sees the association's alliance with EFXit! as an integral step in providing his members with the best resources available to help them stay competitive in their industry.
"EFXit! presents our members with important solutions in logistics management by offering them the best shipping rates available and the operating efficiency that gives them the competitive advantage they need to excel in the marketplace, " said Colaianni.
"We've invested more than 10 years in developing an Internet-based transportation management platform that leverages the Internet to attack the estimated $500 billion waste that results from inefficiencies in the transportation industry," said Keith LaBotz, CEO and founder of Electronic Freight Exchange.
