Mace Security International, Mount Laurel, NJ, has entered the truck wash business
through the acquisition of Red Baron Truck Wash, a truck wash chain operating locations in Arizona, Indiana, Ohio and Texas and Planet Truck Wash, a truck wash chain operating two locations in Amarillo and El Paso, TX.
Mace hopes to become a large national provider of vehicle cleaning services. The company expects to grow through the construction of additional locations and the acquisition of other existing profitable locations. It hopes to establish long term fleet account contracts.

Paolino, Jr., Mace chairman and ceo, said, "The truck wash sector of the automotive industry is under-developed and has tremendous potential for significant growth throughout the United States. We feel that our penetration into this business is exciting for Mace's current operation because it significantly enhances and broadens our growth opportunities.
