Sunoco and Linden to Use Bulknet

SHARING TOOLS        | Print Subscribe, Tullytown, PA, has announced that Sunoco Chemical and Linden Bulk are now using its specialized e-commerce to construct their own load-matching services to reduce costs and increase information access.

Philadelphia-based Sunoco will use's customized website, CDBulk, for its East Coast operations. "We find that has reduced Sunoco's administrative costs for order scheduling and dispatching," said Gordon Heisler, director of transportation.
John Malgeri, general manager for Linden Bulk of Linden, NJ, reports that the company has been using the CDBulk module of since January and that the system is user-friendly, easy to work with and very detailed.
CDBulk is a customized area of that allows individual shippers to tailor load-matching services to meet the specific demands of their own production and scheduling. Shippers of chemical products can reportedly reduce their search for available carriers to meet customers' delivery schedules, while carriers can make better, more efficient use of their trucks and avoid returning from a delivery empty.
