Truckers can now get up-to-the-minute information on closures and traffic delays on Oregon state highways through the Oregon Department of Transportation's free QuickFax service.

ODOT provides the service through its regional public affairs officers and communications centers. Subscribers can receive bulletins about road closures and major traffic delays caused by traffic incidents and weather, plus special bulletins concerning the commercial trucking industry.
Trucking companies and others wishing to subscribe to the free service should call Dave Davis, ODOT Region 2 Public Affairs, at (503) 986-5845. Subscription requests also can be sent by fax to (503) 986-5847, or by e-mail to david.u.davis@odot.state.or.us.
