J.B. Hunt Dedicated Contract Services, an operating unit of J.B. Hunt Transport, Inc.
has been awarded a contract to manage and operate private fleet operations at eleven separate North American locations for polymer manufacturer M.A. Hanna Co.

J.B. Hunt will employ about 50 full-time drivers that are dedicated to M.A. Hanna and will provide on-site managers at larger locations.
Michael A. Hamel, director of supply chain management for M.A. Hanna said the contract would allow his company to focus resources on its own businesses in specialty polymer processing and distribution of resin and plastic shapes. He said J.B. Hunt's logistics and
technological capabilities were the first step in building an on-line tracking and tracing system for customer orders.
J.B. Hunt will be providing on-board computers and satellite communications as an enhancement to M.A. Hanna's services and will be consolidating all equipment and drivers under one provider in order to streamline the M.A. Hanna distribution network.
M.A. Hanna is headquartered in Cleveland and has annual revenues of around $2.3 billion.
