Volvo Increases Stake in Scania

Volvo has reportedly upped its stake in rival Scania from 30.6% to 45.5%. The company began purchasing stock in the rival Swedish truck manufacturer a year ago and Scania agreed to a friendly takover in August but the deal still awaits approval by the European Commission.
