Jim Hall, chairman of the National Transportation Safety Board, will be a featured speaker at the National Private Truck Council's annual Education/Management Conference April 30-May 3 in Tampa, FL.

Hall was appointed to the NTSB in 1993 and became chairman in 1994. His term expires at the end of 2002.

Hall, in fact, is a strong advocate of "black box" recorders on all commercial vehicles.
