Allison to Build New Parts Center

Allison Transmission Div. of General Motors will build a new parts distribution center on a 27-acre site south of the Indianapolis International Airport.

The 390,000-square-foot facility will consolidate the company's parts operations from two Indianapolis distribution facilities to a single, centrally located operation. The opening is scheduled for summer of this year. The facility will employ about 240 people.
