Meritor Sells Seat Adjusting Business

Meritor Automotive has completed the sale of its Light Vehicle Systems seat adjusting systems business to Dura Automotive Systems Inc. for $130 million.

The unit supplies manual and powered seat adjusting systems to major seat makers. Meritor said it sold the business because it was no longer core to Light Vehicle Systems' strategic direction.
