FedEx Invests in NTE

Federal Express parent FDX Corp. has become an investor in the National Transportation Exchange.
Robert Quinn, FDX's staff vice president, operations analysis, will sit on the NTE Board of Directors. Other terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
NTE is an online freight matching and transportation exchange service.
In addition to Federal Express, FDX owns RPS Inc., Viking Freight Inc., Roberts Express Inc., and FDX Logistics.
