Kenworth Dealers Get New Inventory Program

Kenworth's new Managed Dealer Inventory program is designed to simplify parts inventory management for dealers and assure replacement parts availability for customers.
The program, currently being implemented at Kenworth dealerships, automated processing of parts inventory management by remotely managing dealer stock.
"MDI allows Kenworth parts departments to spend more time, energy and resources focused on working closely with customers instead of manually managing inventory," said John Wisdom, program manager.
"The biggest improvement has been availability," said Doug Bugay, parts sales manager for Sahling Kenworth in Kearney, NE. "I don't have stock out situations like I did before."
Kenworth says the program went through two years of development and pilot testing before it was made available to all dealers.
