DaimlerChrysler To Modernize Brazil Operations

DaimlerChrysler, parent company of Freightliner, plans to modernize its truck-making operations in Brazil.

According to the Detroit News, the company will invest $500 million over the next three years. Truck and bus sales have slumped in Brazil due to a national recession, but DaimlerChrysler expects truck sales to recover next year.
