Automatic Data Processing and Navistar International have finished tests verifying that the Y2K but won't cause problems for ADP's Elite dealer management system when processing dealership data linked electronically to Navistar.
The Y2K readiness testing was done at ADP's dedicated Y2K laboratory in Portland, OR. The testing is done in a simulated dealership environment. For example, ADP tests the warranty claim process from the entry of claim information at a dealership, through the electronic exchange and processing of that information at the manufacturer, and back to the dealership service department where the claim originated.
