CabCard Drivers Talk Free Tomorrow

Drivers with CabCard prepaid calling cards will enjoy Talk Free Day all day tomorrow, August 25, smack in the middle of National Truck Driver Appreciation Week.
CabCard is the driver e-mail and calling card program for fleets equipped with Qualcomm's OmniTRACS satellite communications system. Driver Appreciation Week runs from August 21 to August 28.
Transcommunications Inc., Chattanooga, TN, the CabCard company, is sponsoring the free 27-hour calling period which begins one minute after midnight, Wednesday, August 25 and runs until 3 a.m. Thursday, August 26, Eastern Daylight Time. Free calls are limited to the U.S. and Canada. To participate, drivers must have an activated CabCard calling card, which they can get from participating fleets.
CabCard e-mail allows families to message drivers on the road without going through company dispatch. CabCard's prepaid calling cards offer attractive rates and other benefits. Currently, more than 160 drivers have CabCard services. Transcommunications' Customer Service will answer questions at 800-831-2273.
