One trucker was killed and four others injured when more than a dozen twisters hit Illinois last night.

A truck driver asleep in his rig was crushed to death at a rest stop along I-55 in central Illinois, about 60 miles north of St. Louis.
Four other drivers were injured at a Farmersville, IL, truckstop when the storm hit at 7:15 p.m. yesterday. One remained hospitalized today in good condition.
Tornadoes were also reported in south-central Missouri near St. James and Rolla. Several tractor-trailers were reportedly blown over by the high winds.
