Yellow Freight’s site, http://www.yellowfreight.com, allows customers to obtain a number of forms required for domestic and international shipping, including bilingual and trilingual forms required for NAFTA commerce. Another new page gives customers a quick way to get information about cargo claims.
American Freightways has added a pick-up request and improved rate inquire to its American Shipper On-Line web site, http://www.arfw.com. The pick-up request option gives shippers a chance to enter detailed information that goes to American’s dispatch system at the local customer center, which automatically schedules a pickup. The rate inquiry option gives shippers freight charge quotations for specific shipments.
