Coinciding with the distribution of its first truck models to dealers, U.S. truck newcomer Bering Truck has formed a strategic alliance with Ford Credit.

Under this alliance, Ford Credit will provide Bering with funds for working capital, construction and permanent financing of Bering’s new Front Royal, VA, manufacturing and assembly facility. In addition, Ford Credit, under a PRIMUS commercial private label, will offer a wide range of financial products for Bering’s dealers, including dealer floor plan, retail financing and lease financing.
Bering Truck Corp. was established in 1997 to make and import Class 3-8 trucks. In cooperation with Korea’s Hyundai, the new trucks have Hyundai chassis and cabs integrated with complete North American powertrain options.
